DESCRIPTION OF WORK: 65 E State St. [deleted text] [PLRE1913805 R.B.1/30/20, revised the scope. Floors 21-24: Restrooms will be renovated in compliance with the OBC and A117.1-2009. Drinking fountains are roughed-in but not installed. Unfinished areas shall have minimal general lighting, fire alarm, fire suppression. Floors 21-22: Demolish existing partitions. Floors 23-24: Work was halted mid-project. The spaces are not completed to the extent that shown on the original drawings.] Separate permits required for plmb, mech, elec, fire alarm and fire suppression. CONDITIONS OF THE OCCUPANCY: [No occupancy approved. Occupancy can be approved in future under separate tenant finish permits. The requirement drinking fountains shall be met at that time.] OCCUPANT LOAD: Floor 21:[176], Floor 22:[176], Floor 23:[162], Floor 24:[162]. DEMAND at FIRE PUMP DISCHARGE: 372gpm @ 217psi (fl 22). FIRE ALARM SYSTEM: Existing modified. Emergency voice/alarm communications system required by OBC 907.2.13. Smoke detection required in elevator lobby. Smoke detection required in R/A duct per OBC 907.2.13.1.2. CONDITIONS OF THE PLAN APPROVAL: 1.Provide/maintain draft curtains around all stair openings per OBC 1019.3, Condition 4. 2.Provide Impairment Plan at first inspection. 3.Provide a Statement of Special Inspections at first inspection. RECORD / HISTORY: Verified from ALTC1803796: B use, I-B construction, fire alarm, fire suppression, 27-story high-rise. Floor openings at the center stairs are not atriums. The openings for interior stairs comply with OBC 1019.3, Condition 4 (draft curtain and closely spaced sprinklers), even though these stairs are not required for exit access. The same condition allows the open stairs between floors 23 and 24.
